Community Health Services
CHWs provide access to services, improve the quality and cultural competence of care, create an effective system of chronic disease management, and increase the health, knowledge, and self-sufficiency of underserved populations.
Naturally Occurring Retirement Community
A NORC is a residential area that was not originally built specifically for older adults, but is now home to a significant proportion of older adults (anyone age 60+).
Food & Health
Our mission is to advance the health and wellbeing of rural people and communities. We build food-secure communities and a thriving, healthy, regional food system through collaboration.
We seek to improve transportation access and coordination in South Central New York, with particular regard to the area’s rural communities.
We provide meaningful service and learning opportunities for people committed to improving the health and lives of those living in South Central New York State.
Technical Assistance and Planning
Rural Health Network works at the local and regional level to provide assistance with health related needs assessments, planning and project implementation.
